Fact: I'm 20.
Fact: People keep asking me why I am not yet married.
Question: Why are people gettin all up in my business?
Question: Is it that surprising that a 20-year-old girl is still single?
Fact: I obviously haven't found the right one and Theory: it will possibly be a while before I do.
Unless I am 30 (with cats) and not married, I don't think you need to worry. Thanks, though. ;)

My Life During Finals
This week is bittersweet (finals=bitter, last week of school=sweet).
Thus far, I got a B (lame) on my final for my Education class. I'm mad about that, but whatev. I scored over 100% (I'm not sure how that happens) on my Psychology exam. It was an easy test, but it's still good news!
This morning I took my Math final. If I don't ace that exam I will be one angry woman. After the 10 painstaking hours of studiousness, I expect nothing less than a stellar grade. Last night-- this morning-- whatever... my head didn't touch the pillow until 4:51 A.M. Yep. I studied till almost 5 in the morning. Obviously I didn't realize the amount of time I would need to devote to studying for that exam. Good thing my class wasn't until 11.
I have only one more test left!!! My online class (honestly, I can't remember the name of the class... sad). It has something to do with the constitution and history and Nevada laws... something like that. A little advice for anyone reading this-- NEVER take an online class unless you have no choice. I HATE IT. I missed a few assignments because I always forget to log onto the website and check it. Also, online lectures are 900 times more boring than attending a live lecture. Just my $.02.
Moral of the story is that I should be studying for my online final right now. Instead, I am doing more important things like discovering I'm most like Bella from "Twilight" and that 7 out of every 10 men fall in love with me (impressive, I know!). It amazes me how much I learn about myself by taking online quizzes. Well, I assume I have procrastinated enough for one night. Time to hit the books. Wish me luck!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Let me tell you-- I absolutely love this time of year. Thanksgiving is the perfect time to think about my blessings and cherish the wonderful people I have in my life. Elder Bednar's talk "Pray Always" (I loved this talk-- so inspiring!) from the most recent conference seems very fitting for Thanksgiving. He counsels us to periodically offer a prayer unto the Lord in which we solely express GRATITUDE for our blessings and ask for NOTHING. This week I am going to challenge myself to do that every night! It really shouldn't be too difficult. I have so many wonderful blessings.
Well, I love you ALL and love Thanksgiving. It reminds me how blessed I am. Oh yeah, mashed potatoes aren't too bad either. :)

Why do I do these things?
- Where is the weirdest place you have a mole? I think all of my moles are in fairly conspicuous locations.
- Who was the hottest teacher you ever had? “Mr. S” - student teacher in 5th grade. He was dreamy!
- Have you ever made out in a movie theater? No. That’s a waste of money… I can do that at home.
- Do you hover over the toilet in public restrooms? Yes. Unless they have seat covers. I'm somewhat of a germaphobe.
- What is the strangest talent you have? I can sleep with my eyes open. Also, my last minute outfits could be described as both “strange” and “talented.” I can think of more strange talents I have than useful ones.
- Have you ever been tied up? I don’t really understand this question.
- Have you ever had two dates in one night? No?
- Is there one thing all of your love interests have had in common? Ummm dark hair, possibly.
- If you had to choose to not ever wash your bed sheets again or not wash your bath towel ever again, which would you rather not wash? My bath towel. But that is disgusting.
- Have you ever bitten your toenails? No…? Only a very uncivilized and flexible person would do that.
- Do you give second chances easily? Yep, I think so!
- Are you ticklish? Very.
- Have you ever changed your clothes while in the car? Yes. Haven't you ever been late for work?
- What is one thing you miss about your past? I miss the innocence of childhood. Children are so honest and pure. I miss being able to be friends with everyone. I miss my wild imagination. Seriously, I came up with some crazy stuff when I was little!
- Favorite type of sock? White, ankle-high.
- Would you ever have plastic surgery? If something got really screwed up. Like if I got in an accident. Otherwise, no. What’s with everyone trying to look perfect? Embrace your natural beauty, people!
- What kind of impression do you give people? Hopefully a good one?
- Do you think everything happens for a reason? Not necessarily. The big things in life, yes.
- Name ONE trait you can't stand in a person. Lack of a sense of humor
- Do you like the rain? You betcha! Especially when it’s accompanied by thunder and lightning!
- What is your least favorite word? Unisex
- Would you or have you ever shaven your head? I like my hair.
- Do you walk around the house naked? Excuse me. That’s none of your business!
- Do you hate chocolate? What kind of a question is that? I love chocolate!
- Three qualities you look for in a friend: Rich, generous, complimentary.
- Are you sarcastic? Never.

Updates!
So here is what has been going down with me:
1. I turned the big 2-0 in May. (That means my sis Tara and I are BOTH in our 20's for a couple months!)
2. Yesterday I bought a really cute shirt at Old Navy. (On sale!)
3. I saw the movie Hancock ....... (I didn't love it).
4. Both Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk were decent movies.
5. I am most likely going to start teaching piano.
6. Summertime is great for setting goals! I have lots of new ones, i.e. saving $$ (this one has not been going so well... see #5).
7. The doc pulled out my wisdom teeth in June. Three weeks later, I still have numbness and some pain. :(
8. I still hate needles. They caused me to faint AGAIN.
9. I learned that the drug Lortab makes me act like an idiot.
10. Whitney, my roommate from BYU-I, came to Las Vegas and I got to see her. It was fun, even though I was swollen and hurting from my tooth operation. Miss ya, Whit!
11. I got to spend last weekend at the cabin. The weather was perfect. My brother Joseph and my sister-in-law Felicia came as well. Also, my cousin Cameron and his wife Julia were there. It was fun spending a few days with everyone!
12. My wonderful friend Carly and I have been hanging out lots... going on walks and what not. I love her!
13. Tara found out she's having a boy! She looks so cute with her pregnant belly.
14. My family and I went to Disneyland back in May!
15. I'm reading some good books this summer, but I could use more suggestions.
16. Next weekend I am going to Utah. I get to see my BFF Courtney!:D Plus Joe and Fel!
17. I LOVE my life and the people that make it good.

Night Owl.
I have been trying to figure out this whole blog thing all night. It all started around 9 o'clock PM. I am finally getting the hang of this. One problem: now I can't go to sleep. I work better at night. It is not uncommon for me to stay up until the wee hours working on a project. I have a hard time stopping until I feel as though it is exactly how I like it. Current time: 1:48 AM. Yikes!
